1800's playing like Magnus Carlsen

In 3 minute Blitz games, my highest rating is 2086. I realize that highest rating isn't usually indicative of your usual playing strength. I'd say I consistently play around a 1900-2000 rating  or so.

But, every few months for about a week it seems like my opponents playing strength increases A LOT. Like not only are they playing excellent strategic and tactical moves, but they are playing them FAST. During this week my rating drops to 1700's at some points. Every game against an 1800 feels like I am playing against Magnus Carlsen. My matches against 2000+ rated players aren't this sweaty...

Has anyone noticed this pattern, too? It's game after game of fighting for my life so I really can't chalk it up to cheaters. Are there Chess.com live game bots that they are testing? I highly doubt it's my playing strength being inconsistent. Again, I am noticing a pattern of this happening.

You didn't read my last sentence:

"I highly doubt it's my playing strength being inconsistent. Again, I am noticing a pattern of this happening."

I was trying to see if others experienced this too.

I've definitely experienced rating point drops throughout my Chess.com experience, but these occurrences seem different. I'm kind of hinting that there could be Chess.com live game bots, but that does sound paranoid.

That's the only way I can justify my opponent playing skill increasing so drastically
