20 hours of daily chess training?

This is of course the regime of not mine but of GM Parham Maghsoodloo, the 2018 World Junior Champion. And to clarify, he later stated that 15 or 18 hours is the norm and that definitely never under 10 hours. Just fascinating- the dedication and the discipline is something worth admiring and respecting. But my real question is: What are his dreams like? Does he dream of more positions? Or does he have regular non-chess dreams? For you Masters (and I suppose novices) out there who train seriously, what is your experience on this topic?

I tried to study "seriously" to make Expert.  I quickly found out i have no desire to study like that.

that is way too much time to spend on anything, for one thing I have a job and a life I made it to 1949 USCF, and my study habits suck I really think I would have little trouble breaking 2000 if I just studied

I see kids at tournaments, and that's all some of them do.  I guess its easy when you dont have a job, family, responsibilities. etc.
