Tournament modes should have a particular pools
0 - 1000 pool of players one group of players
1000 - 1500 another group ( minimum you must have 1000 rating to participate)
1500 - 2000 (minimum 1500 to participate)
AND most important one HEAVYWEIGHT
2000 - Magnus (minimum 2000 rating to participate)
chess.com can even make money by offering lower-rated players to pay to play up 1 section.
Yes exactly even pay to move up 1 section, where you can play tournament with title players including GM's , Hikaru etc...
Either way from general public or a business perspective it's only plus plus plus
I'm starting an Untitled Tuesday event for untitled players to run after Titled Tuesday; that's not going to work for titled players, of course, but strong untitled players will hopefully find competition at their level: https://www.chess.com/club/untitled-tuesday

We facing a big tournament problem here on chess.com
Let alone that theirs no tournament option available for IOS , I want to talk about a tournament mode in general, particularly pool of players.
At the moment there's almost none title players or just 2000+ players playing a tournament mode here on chess.com
Theirs a reason and it's simple , you must have minimum 1500 rating to join and then infinity. Why would a title player want to play with 15 hundred and 16 hundred players? Come on chess.com
Any way long story short chess.com should create different pool of players which means to participate in a tournament mode you must have 2000rating minimum and infinity that way we see some strong competitions and attract more title players here.
And 1500-2000 would be another pool of players to continue participate in a tournament.
