The time has come for the 2024 Champions Chess Tour Finals. Happening December 17-21, this year's highly anticipated CCT championship features a $500,000 prize fund and a spicy three stages format to declare the tour champion.

Eight of the world's finest players will battle it out to climb their way through three stages, until the very last one standing.

Round-robin (Dec 17-19)

The eight finalists compete in a single round-robin to determine who advances straight to the semifinals (first and second), goes to the Survival Stage (third through sixth), or gets eliminated (sevent and eighth).

Survival Stage (Dec 19)

The four players who placed between third and sixth in the Round-Robin stage play a mini double-elimination knockout to determine the last two spots in the semifinals.

Semifinals & Final (Dec 20-21)

The four players who made it from previous phases compete in a single-elimination knockout to determine the Champions Chess Tour winner.
