Has anyone tried playing chess.com's "Four Player Chess?"

I let everyone disconnect and then go gobble up their kings.

It's even more bloody difficult than 2 player chess.

I do sometime but I don't feel to play chess anymore. It's really just for fun.

I actually won the first game I played.  2 people disconnected and I beat the other player.

Have you tried the new teams version?

Thanks for mentioning the "teams" option, I have not been paying attention recently.

I think that is a step in the right direction, it matches with the alternating move pattern in chess.

So the fundamentals of the game do not break down, for example, combinations.

I noticed that you prefer using the old fashioned name for this 4 player type of game.

I have tried teams and reached almost 1400 rating (was rated 1393 and then lost a game before I stopped playing). Played some games with @The-Lone-Wolf. This game shows some of the strategies in the game. Try to target 1 player and play aggressive. Checks and especially double checks are very good.

Spent many hours of sillyness during U.K. junior tournaments playing 'exchange chess', which is a four player game. One of my fondest chess memories. Thanks for all the stuff!!
