I think the Halloween gambit is more sound than it first looks. I have played it in a teammatch and should have lost with the black pieces. I just happened to be lucky in the endgame. After playing that game I fear the gambit enough that I would consider just sacrifice the piece back in some way.

I mean your endgame technique, not the opening. 

Yes, I have posted that game somewhere when referring to not resign too early at some point. It might be in one of your simuls forums. It is quite a memorable game for me.
