How did I do? Could I do better?

You won. You can't do better than that.

/ Why don't you take a crack at the analysis first? There are undoubtedly things that could be done better but you will learn more if you try to find them first.

One thing you might start with is to find out if there are any moves more commonly played than 4 Nd5 in what is called the Four Knights opening.

i lol'd at 24. Bxb7

6...Nf6 and black wins with his free extra pawn. With 4.Nd5? you moved your queen knight which was already developed a second time, leaving e-pawn unprotected. You better first develop the rest of your pieces. So instead of 4.Nd5 move your king bishop, then play d3 or if possible d4, then develop queen bishop. Then move your Queen to a safe place, e2 or d2, then play 0-0 or 0-0-0, depending on your flavour and bring your rooks to center files. Then mate him. Good luck ;-)

1. e4e52. Nf3Nf63. Nc3Nc64. Nd5 ???

4. Nd5 Is a Mistake! Moving the Same Piece Twice in the Opening...

move23. d4 could have cost you the game. (had you not been ahead in material)

bishop takes h2+. and suddenly black wins a free pawn and takes you queen and bisop.(ok for your queen and bishop )

one tip never place your queen in front of a bishop. it can lead to all sorts of discoveries.

even though you were ahead in material you should remember this. maybe next game you are not.

jvkhs

wasnt the queen hanging

Fish_Ninja

12. d3?? stop hanging knights.

I saw a few things immediately.

another tip never give up the e file by taking his rook on move 19.

your f1 rook became way to passive on f1 after that and never moved again.

he got too much counterplay in the end by having the e file for himself more or less.
