Reported username KlasBarbie to chess.com:

"Anti-semitism. Named after Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon. Confirmed as much in chat. Ban now, please, or explain your inaction."

Quiksilverau

grow a pair and stop whining, its not even spelled the same

Jecnez

Some people hate jews, some people hate women, some people hate anyone who is different. Hate is a big problem

ScootaChess

It's not the same name, and even if it were, what if this is legitimately someone's name? Could be a ten year old with lemony snicket obsessed parents

JayeshSinhaChess

Don't listen to people telling you to shut up. There will be many more to follow trust me I have been there. I made a similar thread about someone launching homophobic slurs at me and I got a similar reaction from most of the retards here.

Just report him with a screenshot of his post and you will see action soon. They banned the guy.

For all the people who think that nazi-related usernames is something to laugh about or not take it serious, please take a few history lessons so that you know were are you talking about

Don't worry. This member will be banned shortly I am sure.

Everyone seeks to justify immediate denunciatory actions against people posting pro-Nazi statements on the theory that if we don't respond that way, Stormtroopers will be marching down the street tomorrow.  But in the context of the modern liberal, politically correct world, Nazis only make themselves laughable when they speak, so they are harmless.  This is not the Weimar Republic.  The demand that we denounce them says a lot more about the modern requirement that the reigning ideologies be enforced than it does about any real threats.

ScootaChess

I checked the user. Doesn't seem Nazi-ish to me, though some people think this is a man posing as a woman. If he/she says anything racist, then report. Chess.com is good at banning people. But if this is just about the name, I doubt they'll do anything, because the possibility of coincidence is too high here

The Weimar republic is in the period 1919-1933, The Nazi era is from 1933 until 1945.

I refer to my earlier post, take a few history lessons, maybe you know were you're talking about

To IAMBBW- what do you think the phrase "confirmed as much in chat"means? I asked if that's who he was named after, and I got a load of Holocaust denialist nonsense in reply.

Also, if you want to be taken seriously as a human being, don't address people as "dude". Grow up and learn to read properly.

When someone starts yelling at other people and denying them freedom of speech, it starts to be a bit scary, don't you think?

I rest my case

Goth123

You should all stick to chess and not bring up topics that can't be answered on chess.com. There is no freedom of speech on chess.com. Try the free speech site  gab.ai

You want "KlasBarbie" banned? Politically correct lunacy.....The silly thing about it is chess.com will probably fulfill your request with a moments thought that it might actually be someones real name.

RoobieRoo

I don't hate anyone
