Any point in trying to get better at blitz? Seems like its full of smurfzzz.
I dis agree rapid has more time, so the depth of moves should be stronger by logic. I give you 10 minutes to make a move vs 1 min the 10 minute moves would be far stronger.

Three games and you would think I never played a day of chess in my life. I'm terrible at blitz, like if being terrible at somthing was a art form terrible. I feel like putting any effort in blitz would be the same as the garbage variant bullet. Ego chess, but then you look and these blitz lords have a rapid below 900? Yea ok.... Nothing weird here...
Exactly bully smurfs you increase in elo play stronger players and improve they are people to they blunder

10|0 is actually weaker than 3|0 more competition almost always makes things more difficult where as in rapid when you get to a too high level there are too many cheaters(2200+) unlike in blitz all you get are smurfs (actually fun to beat they give more interesting games )

This is why I will never give them my money there should be no cheaters, especially for a paid service and you would think 2,000 plus elo would aggressively report cheating simply, because getting there legitimately is a huge accomplishment and cheaters ruin that for those who worked hard to get that elo.

You might as well say there should be no thieves and rapists. It's human nature - don't blame the site for it. They do have pretty strong cheat detection measures in place - the obvious ones get banned really wuickly, the subtler ones get caught eventually, but it takes longer to be sure.
And now that this discussion has entering into one about cheating, the mods will be locking it shortly.

Look who's account was a 2,000 elo and now is a 1,000 less then it was thats called Sand bagging if I'm not mistaken... Your one em...

If it isn't a problem and well controled why be scared of discussion about that?
The problem is that IS "well controlled" but people like you refuse to believe it.

Are you talking about me? That's confirmation that you've got no idea what cheating really looks like and why no-one you report ever gets closed for cheating.

Perhaps, seems like the definition of sand bagging would be a person has a 2,000 elo, then drops 700 elo, so they can pound the crap out of less experienced players?
I very rarely report. Only if every box is ticked. I even run full analysis and watch their games for a time. In part to learn from them and to be very sure of my suspicions. Why are you in defense of the thought and discussion of the matter? Obviously theres a lot of cheating at your level especially? Thats what many have said here. You played to many games to be a cheater, obviously you have a skill and love of chess, but there are many who don't they have a love of winning...Not chess..
I will not comment further on the topic. I do hope they continue to monitor, so the community can enjoy the game. My apologies for being rude.

Sandbagging is deliberately losing games you should win. I've been 2000 in bullet briefly but haven't dropped 700 rating points - I'm still 1710 so you're either talking about someone else or not reading the graphs correctly (which wouldn't surprise me)

Please don't report, because clearly you have no idea what cheating really looks like and would only be submitting false reports that clog up the system.
There's not a lot of cheating at my level - never has been. There would be even less at your level, because anyone who's cheating there gets above that rating range really quickly and doesn't understand chess well enough to do the subtle cheating thing that makes engine assistance so devastating at GM level. They're almost certainly obvious cheaters who get caught by the automated systems really quickly.
The Cheating forum used to help out the fair play team by running high level statistical analyses and helping to identify games with suspicious levels of activity: they hardly do that any more because the level of automated detection has gotten good enough that it identifies the obvious cases and bans them because those forum members can run their much cruder analysis.

The we've investigated our selves croud and found that there is no issue., but yet we have a team dedicated to make sure this thing that doesn't happen at low or high elo doesn't happen ok kiddo your the expert obviously my mistake 🤣🤣👍

Define "issue" - cheating is bad and it's a problem. But chess.com isn't ignoring it and is pouring a pile of $ and resources into it and are actually doing a pretty good job with identifying cheating and banning the cheaters. They've gotten good at automatically banning the obvious ones without needing review by the humans on the fair play team. The CEO Erik Allebest has said in interviews that the closure rate is 3% ~ if we assume that the less obvious cheaters are still being watched and getting away with it (for now), then that overall rate or cheating is maybe 5%.
The statement about cheating being more common at higher ratings is just logic.

It's the internet it ain't chess.coms fault they exist chess.com doesn't want cheaters either
Plus most people at your level play legit (this is coming from what I heard from Smurf accounts made by others )
