It doesn't matter about amounts. If there are men who do bad actions, there are women who do the same too. No need for fancy statistics about the comparison between men and women jailed. Just obey the damn law.

yes men are generally better at chess at the highest level. still that is not much compensation for being worse at almost everything else, except growing body hair, making armpit noises, picking their noses and a couple other things.
Last time I remembered, women had those problems too. Face the reality that there are good and bad people, no matter the gender. Stating that all men are inferior to women will just show what kind of a**hole you are.

I so hate being the bearer of bad news but, that too is a fallacy. Although, I would love to give women credit for qualities they don't own. It simply is not true. Men's analytical and pragmatic sense of mechanical objects come from our survival instincts. Not that women don't own survival instincts they are not as mechanically inclined. If you want women to be better than men at something consider this. Their finger dexterity is better.

I saw this thread and had to go to the end. I have not read all the post but I had to add this. My ex would play chess with me even though she was not all that interested in chess. I remember one game we played where I got her queen and thought I could not lose. Then she took me apart with two knights working in conjunction. It was the most amazing chess I had ever seen.
She was very intuitive. I was very analytical. It was not unusual for intuitive to kick analytical butt.
We also use to play a game called Mastermind. She came up with an approach to Mastermind that was incredibly effective. She always out-played me in Mastermind also.
So, are men better at chess. I think men maybe play more chess, and take it more seriously. But I have played a woman who had much less experience than me and just found a way to beat me on a regular basis. If my ex had been serious about chess I doubt that i would have ever beaten her.
