Since competition in India is very high, I played my 1st Fide Rated tournament when i was 1200 rapid on chess.com but it was very bad I scored 3.5 points out of 8 won 1 game out of 3 fide rated players I played and did not get my fide rating. Please tell when should i start playing

An online chess.com speed chess rating has nothing to do with a classical OTB rating. When you should start playing OTB is up to you.

Whenever you want. 3.5 out of 8 is pretty good for the first tournament

@LieutenantFrankColumbo Thanks For Your Advice! But There is player strength For e.g it is know that a 1000 rated player will not perform better than a 1500 rated player in a Fide Rated Tournament .I am just asking When you get to that level?

I believe 1500 would be the right strength

I have had students that never play OTB because they never think they are ready. I have had students that jump right in and play. The one that never play always come up with an excuse. "Im not ready"..."my rating isnt high enough." "I need more practice."

Im not saying this is you, but if youre waiting until youre ready. Youll never be ready.
