i stick to the "space" theme that chess.com has. might be changing it tho

Pieces - 3D Wood 

Board - Burled Wood

Background Theme - Wood

I've tried the other 3D mode but it's hard to keep track of what's going on so this setup is working best for me. Dark and easy on the eye colours.
