e5 is not possible there.
Anyway, that's not how it always goes. A main popular line avoids the queen trade with 4.d3
Another line that keeps queens is 5.Re1 Nd6 6.Nxe5 Be7 7.Bf1

can somebody please tell me the move order for the Berlin? It's Mentioned a lot on chess centre broadcasts. I presume it's a variation of the Ruy Lopez? Haven't had much look in ' search '.
