How about the Thomas Crown Affair? While the focus of the movie was not about Chess, there was an integral scene in which Faye Dunaway seduces Steve McQueen (or was it the other way around?) over a game of Chess. Metaphorically, the movie resembled Chess in that each was trying to anticipate the other's move throughout the movie.
