Best OTB Game You Ever Played?

What was the best game of OTB chess you ever played? What is the story behind it? Who was it with? What did you like about the game?

Personally, I had my best game of OTB chess today. I don't play too much OTB chess, but I normally play a good friend of mine, Clay, quite often. During my lunch final today (haha) I was playing him in some blitz games when a teacher walked over and said, "Can I play the winner?" I won and our game soon started, with me as white. We got a Ruy Lopez, I thought he played decently. I eventually won two pawns and had nice connected passed pawns. Some exchanges occurred, I was forked, but all of this is irrelevant. What was interesting about this game was the final position we ended up having. It was the coolest endgame I've ever gotten. I had a bishop and some pawns vs his rook and some pawns (but less pawns). This endgame trumped any other endgame I've ever had. I think I could have won it, but I think I messed something up and we ended up drawing. . .

Overall, this game with a teacher makes me want to study endgames and have fun learning about this aspect of chess I've never explored. So, what's your story?

I don't particularly like any of my OTB games lol. Maybe I'm too negative and focus too much on my mistakes, hmm.

But your enthusiasm is really great

Probably the rapid game where I almost beat a 1900.

I think it would be my game vs. a strong Expert at last year's Oregon Open.  Crazy line of the Poisoned Pawn variation in the French Winawer.  No one's king was safe, everything was loose, complete insanity on the board.    I sacked the exchange (he declined), let him take my queen rook in the corner, sacked the exchange *again* (this time he had to take it) and mopped up both of his rooks with my knights to end up ahead by a piece.

It was nice to beat an Expert but what I really enjoyed was being able to stay on top of the complications.
