Best place for norm tournaments?

What is the best place to live in Europe to be able to play in lots of strong tournaments with norms available? And what is the best time of year to be there?

I'm not ready yet, but a guy can dream...

I think France is a good country. I know a GM who plays ton of tournaments there (1 per month).

To get norms, I think First Saturday tournaments are good.

First Saturday of course, especially since there's also a regular event in Kecskemét which can let you play two in quick secession.
