Best way to move pieces (mobile, computer / click, drag)

I’ve had trouble getting the click and drag method to work on mobile.
What is the best way to move pieces? Mobile or computer? Drag the piece to its landing square or click on the piece and then click on its landing square?
Which is best to avoid mouse slips? For bullet chess?
