bishops, knights are kinda useless in endgames
Bishop or knight?

It really depends on what situation, but I think the knight is better.
What Alex said!

they both have the same value , if you can trade them it would be usefull to take a good position on the board . Dont start pushing pawns and backup your bishop , go for the trade and position

So chess GMs eventually rated knights worth 3 points, and bishops worth 3.15-3.25 based on high level elo end games.
Early game bishops are very weak as not much space to move around in, meanwhile knights can hop over pawns and set up some nice forks. But in the end game when the board is mostly empty, knight are pure garbage and can't do anything.

Lmao, what BlackKang said

Bishop open, knights closed! It's all situational in the end. 3 points = 3 points. Depending upon the board state if you trade one for the other it could be the difference between a win or a loss. Sometimes a Bishop is worth more than a knight and other times it is vice-versa.

yeah, that makes sense
What is better, bishop or knight?
