Let people discuss the truth, stop posting this pointless stats about how many people have been banned, you're like an annoying robot.

Everyone knows you only catch stupid cheats.

Fetoxo
No, they catch a lot of cheaters. I get a lot less messages of "Your points got refunded”.

It's absoultly USELESS

They do not automatically check these reports - it relies in untold people reporting the same person for them to take notice, they rake in millions and don't spend enough on anti cheating

I'll take chess.com's word for it unless I see evidence that I shouldn't.

KingSonicTheChessHedgehog

pointless thread, martin?

RoadRunnerRage

Lol all of the Chess.com stooges/simps come out in full support when every titled player that streams talks about the huge cheating problem, even Caruana said there were so many he thinks it's nearly half

ucscparakat

"Chess.com takes all reports of cheating very seriously.

Important to Note:

  • Reports are a starting point: While reports help flag accounts for review, Chess.com doesn't close accounts based on reports alone.
  • Investigations are thorough: Chess.com's system analyzes gameplay factors and statistical algorithms to identify suspicious behavior.
  • False accusations can have consequences: If you repeatedly make false accusations, your own account could be subject to restrictions.

How Chess.com Handles Reports:

  • Automated Review: Chess.com's system analyzes gameplay factors and statistical algorithms to identify suspicious behavior.
  • Human Review: The Fair Play team, which includes experienced players and analysts, reviews reports, investigates accounts, and makes decisions on account closures.

Account Closures: If a player is found to have violated the Fair Play Policy, their account is closed, and they may be banned from creating new accounts."

That's absolutely not true.

https://www.chess.com/cheating

That said, the site has posting rules and one of those is that discussions about cheating, potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums.

The discussion is allowed in the following location:
