Knights are easier to fork with than a Bishop and also are really helpful because they are able to attack pieces that are behind other pieces

Ojasha00
As a newbie, knights are more helpful in the beginning of the game and bishops later into the game.

“The weaker the player the more terrible the Knight is to him, but as a player increases in strength the value of the Bishop becomes more evident to him, and of course there is, or should be, a corresponding decrease in his estimation of the value of the Knight as compared to the bishop.” - Capablanca

As your rating goes up , and as you get better at chess you start to appreciate the Bishop much more .

Depends on the specific position and the overall strategy of the game. Both pieces have unique strengths and weaknesses.

Bishop is better in open position, and knight is better in closed position. Knights are arguably better in time scramble tho, as they are very tricky.
