Just blocked a player because he likes to run his mouth. Two games later he is my opponent. Double check his userID, sez unblock, which presupposes that I did indeed block his account. Sup wit dat?
How can I block another user?
You can do this from your 'Privacy Settings'. To get to 'Privacy Settings,' move your cursor over 'Home,' then select 'Account,' then choose 'Manage your Privacy Settings' This will lead you to this page: ( http://www.chess.com/home/privacy.html ) and you will see a section at the bottom of the page where you can enter a username to block.
Once blocked, a member cannot do any of the following:
- post notes to your account
- send you messages
- accept your game seeks
- be auto-matched with you in open seeks
- join tournaments that you are running
- post in content that you created
Are you using V3? An app? Maybe blocking has bugs.
