Now if Fischer played a woman with her crack out, that would have been creative :)
Bobby Fischer Lacked Creativity ?....How Dare I !

The_Ghostess_Lola wrote: The more complicated & sharper the better. Like, to the point where everything becomes really confusing. That's when the pieces goes to a new place. And I luv that !
As far as others ?....I've always felt they are free to play anyway they wish. But, if you play that way w/ me ?....then I just resign and move on to another player. I have that right too you know. IOW's, to win a boring endgame means nothing to me....'cuz winning means very little to me anywayz.
....and BTW, there's nothing more self-disrespecting than those playing chicken-scared chess.
For example, how many X's have I infiltrated my opponents position w/ a lone queen (....and two pieces down !) only to watch them swiftly retreat their unstoppable attack on my king ? Are you kidding me ?
Or, how many X's have I been under heavy attack & watched my opponent 'outta-the blue' castle when I had no threat at all....zero !....this is chihuahua-quivering chess on showcase display.
So, if we get paired & your knees are knocking under your screen ? Then just take your wimp-ridden fingers elsewhere & stop wasting my time.
Well, GM Tal played chicken-scared chess against Botvinnik in their second game, trade and more trading, until they had opposite color bishops and very drawish position and ended in a yawn and draw. GM Tal, Lola dislike you playing chicken chess and she very angry.
The first game was a win for Tal but a very positional game, Tal stop this!! Just attack don't worry about winning, who cares if are world champion because only loser win, you must be bohemian chess player and don't caslte that is a no no, just attack. The Englsh have a nice term for a one trick pony attacker " caveman" or "cavewoman", not bohemian chess player

....and Stavros ?....we had a good game going. Sorry I to had to resign. There was a meeting and I had to be there.
Let's do it again luv........

Stravros: "...because you are a 64 years old man..."
I have fond memories of being such, many years back. Yes, yes, that was a very nice, young age. Anyway, bad guess. Also, about my "little bird'...same thing but "big bird" and he flies like a

Now if Fischer played a woman with her crack out, that would have been creative :)
What crack. I was too busy looking at jugs. In such a situation, and only then, I would play Bohemian chess and not care about losing.

Stavros, I still have some old drachmas hidden in a box under my flower garden. When I come to visit, I'll buy you lunch and show you how to play chess like a real man. We'll play to the death!

In all fairness, chess is boring. Did have two nice wins today though. Came back from a piece down in one. Think i'll split.

There is some value in having a list like that. The problem, though, it is just a list of abstract generalities.
If someone is new to chess, they might think it is great, but they would not know how to implement.
Someone sufficiently experienced at chess would say "Yeah, yeah, yeah...big deal, I could make five lists of stuff. So what?"
Ask yourself...how far have you advanced in chess by being a devotee of this list?
Son, roll up your sleeves and devote four hours per day studying, playing and doing the "heavy lifting". Lists like this are not "gay". But they are treasured by weenies.
Have a nice day.

Funny....if you're talking about being banned on this thread, it won't happen. I wholeheartedly believe in free speech....it's a bohemian thing.
Wait....I take that back. I did put Harvey in jail for two weeks 'cuz he all but asked me to. It went before the judge and he ended up w/ two days in jail and twelve days of probation. Anywayz, you all know who the judge is........
****
I'll miss you Bonny. Reincarnate & come back soon, okay ? Thx for your update P2P....

lala: "I did put Harvey in jail for two weeks.."
Bullsheet. It was something like 48 hours. But you copied the idea from me. On that certain other l-o-n-g thread where I was OP, I put you in the dunking chair for a couple of days and then let you out.
Nobody on these threads has ever shown such compassion. In fact, with zborg, I think I must have dunked him a dozen times. So...give credit for being magnanimous where it is due.
power: "For me, i'm sure you can understand that i don't study chess seriously."
But of course, that is quite obvious. Yet, in your case, doing a lot of studying probably wouldn't make a difference, anyway.

power: "a joke is a joke"
Yes. I am joking too.
Also, I was an adult during Woodstock. Since I wasn't a hippie, you couldn't have paid me...even in drachmas...to attend. Phooey! However, you and Lala, probably Stavros too, would have loved it.

btw harvey are you the reason why Bonny has been banned? i liked her comments. i don't like yours. that's is sad
I have no comment about Bonny. I am neutral. We never exchanged words. But you? If my comments offend you, then I am quite pleased.

I just got in. Wishing everyone a really good nite...yes, you too Harvey........going to bed now....it's been a long day.

If Bonny was banned we wouldn't see her comments on this forum. So she didn't get banned. She merely deleted her own account.
As for this thread its such a waste of time.
DonJose22 has summed up Lola very nicely. She is a Mindless critter.
She thinks unsound sacrifices that result in a loss are creative.
I have seen baby's play those type of unsound sacrifices just by pushing the pieces around on the board randomly.
Oh Looky there I am so creative. I am such a true Bohemian player. I am filled with so much creativity. I did a unsound queen sacrifice. I am so brillant.
I didn't even use any calcuation when doing that move. I played it with in seconds.
Stupid Thread
Stupid Logic
This forum saddens me

It ought not sadden you. Besides, life is sheet and then you die.
No, I am just joking again. I will say that what I really think is that life is bitter-sweet. That's a factoid of observation from bookoo decades of living. But I accept that and try to focus on the sweet.
This thread? Zany. That's all. A little bit of zaniness helps take the edge off some of the serious crud that life dishes out.
And chess is supposed to be fun. We do not get paid (most of us) to play chess. Fun. Fun. Fun. Are we all having fun with chess?
Now how am i expected to read 47 pages...... guys can someone pls just tell me what has beem going on from page 1-47. I feel so lost....
Thx :-) :-) :-)
Egoole....TY for asking. This discussion is suppose to center a'O whether or not Bobby Fischer truly had creative chess talent or not. I am arguing that he possessed slightly below average creativity. Yet, I think he possessed (....and greatly) all the other skills needed to be a World Champion.
Most ppl here on this thread seem to be enamored w/ his "so-called" my-oh-my enigma....thus left confuse about the difference between his OTB play w/ his OffTB shenanigans.
BTW, there is a second argument going on....of which I've all but been blasphemed for. And that is: To be a creative chess talent, the game is almost always seen thru the eyes of a Bohemian....something BF was not in the least. And BTW, being considered a creative chess talent ?....one doesn't need to have reached World Chess Champion. In fact, it can be some distance from a prerequisite.
Two well-known names are Mikhail Tal and Duncan Suttles. Ulf Anderssen would be another for his significant creative endgame stuff. And, Jeremy Silman contributed the name Vanessa A. West thru a popular article he wrote back on June 2, 2015 for chess.com.
That's about it....I hope this helps....
