Bots in Live Chess

Years and can spot a computer a mile away. I consider this to be one of my unique talents. I’ve played bots thousands of games on various other sights. I can tell you some tell-tale signs. 1. A consistent delay in moves 2-3 seconds - in opening you’d especially expect your opponent to have memorized. You can easily dismiss it as lag if they move quickly at the end (I see that all the time) 2. A time control of 3 - 2 or 5-0 are hallmark cheat times. If you play 3 0
You automatically limit your cheating opponent to top echelon of cheaters- those with ability to interface a program into this sites software- which I’m sure isn’t impossible but requires a degree of technical knowledge few possess. 3. Positions are computer-esque take a long time to get used to.as a master I have ability to see the logic behind certain moves and if a combination seems ridiculously extravagant, combined with either a delayed moves mentioned above or even in this case instant moves- it’s a sign. Btw, I have not seen a top echelon cheater on this site but have seen them frequently on ICC. I have also seen a GM or two cheat by using a program every so often not to arouse suspicion. Some GMs have been banned on this site for cheating so it’s not a conspiracy theory. Some people will invariably cheat to get ahead in life- it probably gives them a rush. Oh btw prob 15 years ago I used a program on ICC as well. When they caught me I was forced to put a (c) next to my handle but I had already played 50
Games before that Happened. I’m not sure why I did it- but part of it was disgust at being cheated against- oh and the real hilarious thing is my program would sometimes face another cheating persons program - that happened to me also and every time I lost- they probably had a better processor/program.
I'm not really thinking about cheating per se when I mentioned bots. I was just wondering whether chess.com have bots installed in Live Chess.
Why would they though? I can't exactly answer your question unless chesscom has a reason to do so. So... probably not.
How do I know I'm not playing with bots? Sometimes I have this feeling that I'm playing a clever bot but how can I be sure?
