Bring back old chess bots!

Many of us really miss the old chess bots like Mittens, M3GAN, and Beth. They were not just opponents — they had personality, stories, and made playing difficult but fun as well.

The new bot feels different, and while it’s technically advanced, those classic bots had charm and nostalgia that made Chess.com bots unique, not gonna lie.

So here’s a small request from the community — please bring back the old bots (even as a special mode or category like nostalgia event or something like that). Many players would love to relive those memories.

I am also a chesstuber myself and I want that, people can also get to play against these bots again : D

+1 We believe in the future

Some old bots can't return as they were promotions and where partnerships and/or otherwise licensed. That's especially true for the M3gan and Beth related bots.

If they kept other, non-licensed bots active, the not page would become unweildly after a short time. That's even if the bot code was designed to handle that many effectively.
