For chess study 10 min but for regular in my opinion 5 min
1 min (2 min) is for just for fun
Rapid for improvement; blitz for heart palpitations.

Honestly blitz, if your a beginner rapid since the quality of a blitz or bullet games is gonna be awful and it’s gonna teach you the most
