perhaps eating monkey brains wills make you smarter

They did so in the film series Faces Of Death too. Except it was REAL monkey brains straight from the skulls.

apes have a very much larger short memory than humans and can use these informations also very much faster. also everything in orientation in a 3d room is much better and faster. they can move about 50 meters in a wood and can remember everything to go there blindfolded.

Do you have some research that points to apes having a 'larger' short term memory than humans?

If monkeys would be able to play chess well, I think that we, humans, should be worried about our leadership above all the other animals in the world. Monkeys are wit, of course, but not enough to reach our level

I was monkey world champion.

That's because you could move the pieces with your feet and press the cock with your tail - a big advantage!

If an ape had the intelligence of a three year old child [comment 138] and learned to chess, I guess it would be as much competition as as a three year old human.

"i heard that chimpanzees are very smart. they have been astronauts in the past"

But then they picked up Kirsan...

There is some African saying that monkeys can talk, but they avoid it since they know that it would mean that humans would make them work. Maybe they can play chess too but avoid it so they don't have to read the kibitzing.

I heard of a chicken that could play tic-tac-toe. True story. So why not?

This is true. They had these in Hot Springs Ak. when I was a kid. Right next to the alligator wrestling.

Imagine losing chess to a monkey or ape.

I think, for the sake of our egos, monkeys and apes should NOT be taught to play chess.

I should think not. It was top-notch, dinner was provided for free. Unfortunatly, only half the players could be treated to it.
