"Change Username" has not been functional since 2016...

Can't believe a multi billion dollar company cant fix something basic enough that a sub-qualifying intern could fix in minutes. The API call responsible for handling username changes has not been properly configured to handle the user JWT token and always returns a 401, and spits out the nonsense error "To avoid confusion, you may not change your username while connected to Live Chess or registered for any Live Chess competition. Please try again after you are done playing." in the error catch.

Can't even put together a simple placeholder response. Shameful.

Members change usernames successfully every day. Are you on the website or one of the apps?

I see you have been a member for three whole weeks now.

Perhaps you made a similar post about this under a previous user name back in 2016. Unfortunately, I could not find it.
