CHEATERS USING COMPUTER SOFTWARE

Dear chess players,

the user:  *** is using computer software when playing 15/10 games...DO NOT PLAY EVER WITH HIM. Chess.com must ban him in order to protect us...

I just checked his profile and another  player just said the same...i lost the first 2 games very quick (and i am a strong player) then i made him play with my computer and .....guess what a draw!

You should never make accusations unless you can show evidence. What is your evidence in this case?

I did not know where to report cheaters...that is why i made this forum. if you visit his profile another player says he is a cheater. I am so angry about it

Go and check my last games and tell me if a player rated 1690 is playing like that

You really should edit your posts, taking out the player's name and photo and then report via the correct link above and also listed in the FAQ.

Also, using an engine, even against a suspected engine user, is against the terms of service for the site.

yeah, this forum will be locked by a mod soon according to the "No naming and shaming" rule.

Honestly, don't use a comp. against a person you think is using a comp. just maybe block him and report him...don't know where the link is though.

What are u talking about???? the only way to understand that the other person is a cheater is to make him play with your computer.Then you see that he is making moves that is extremely difficult to even understand...

No. You can analyze their games with a program such as this:

If you use a computer against them, you are committing the same misdeed they committed.

If you use a computer in any rated game, that is cheating. Your interpretation does not matter.

It is even cheating if you use a computer in unrated games unless both parties agree to the use of computers beforehand.
