Cheating On Chess.com!!! (how do you stop it?)

Hello everybody, you all may know that using computers are cheating on chess.com, and if used on the same computer, some chess sites (including chess.com) can detect the use of computers to enhance play.  However, I discovered today that there's other ways of cheating.  I want to know how to stop it?

 Somebody was playing a 5 minute game against me, and I was totally dominating the game, but then he waited (without playing) for 4 minutes, suddenly, his time suddenly reset!  Also, he was able to disable my chat, but still use his own chat, so he could say what ever he wanted without my chat reply.  Also, he disabled my resign button, and draw button.  This was no website malfunction, it was deliberate, because I played him again.

Has anybody ever experienced things like this?

According to you stats page you never had a rating of 1300 for anything longer than bullet chess. Mmmmh ...

1st of all I'm having trouble finding this game in your history but... It sounds like you were experiencing an unnoticed disconnect.  Your opponent had made a move and you were on the clock but your cpu stopped receiving packets.  So what you saw on your monitor was not what was happening.  I seriously doubt that this so called cheater did anything of the sort.  Next time you think that your opponent is refusing to move hit CMD+R or F5 to refresh your screen.
