Well, there is this one from Pleasant Times Industries:
...but there would probably be some scratching of the pieces.

You need a gorgeous bag for your gorgeous chess set. The issue is that the best bags are usually manufactured for ladies. I imagine you would not feel comfortable going to a tournament with a Louis Vuitton or a Balanciaga? Perhaps House of Staunton will cater to your needs?:

That one is perfect. It even has a bandolier to keep each piece separate. Unfortunately, it is out of stock until August. Thanks for the find though!
That's a beautiful set you have, though. I can see why you don't want to scratch it.
Thanks. My parents gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago. I think I've actually played on it twice. I've been thinking "why do I always play on this ratty plastic mat when I have that sitting at home?"
So I'm looking to make it mobile.
I have a "standard" tournament kit with a vinyl board, plastic pieces, and a cheap plastic bag. Well, the zipper on my cheap plastic bag is destroyed.
And I also have an absolutely gorgeous wooden chess set.
Here is a pic and dimensions...

I was thinking that instead of buying another chess bag for my roll up board, I would like to get a bag big enough to hold that set, and take it to clubs and tournaments. The thing is gorgeous, and just sits in my house gathering dust (my wife doesn't play, and I study on the computer mostly).
The bag would also need a place to hold the pieces in a way they won't get scratched up, and a clock.
Anybody know of such an animal? If I could sew, I could make it myself out of felt, but I can't.
