Chess for beginners

Hello  I know alot is available online.
I also like looking at videos online and reading about chess online.

But is there som good books for a beginner. My rating is between 1300-1500.

But I lack basic understandings off chess. 

Can anyone recomend a book or two?

As you can see, this topic has been posted many, many, many times. Please search the forums before posting. I know you are new. So no biggie. But pretty much everything has been covered. You'll get much better (and quicker) information by running a search.
