Are there any chess openings or varations that has no name yet?

And who has the right to name an opening or varation?

And why some openings has no root of the founder or the inventor or just who named it?Surprised

My favorite opening name is the "Sodium Opening": 1.Na3

A simple analysis of the number of possible opening sequences makes it clear that there must be many openings without a name.  For example, there are 20 possible initial moves by White (16 pawn moves, 4 Knight moves).  To each of these moves, Black has 20 possible responses.  Thus, by what mathematicians call the "multiplication principle", there are 20 x 20 = 400 possible openings of length one move each for White and Black!

Once pawns begin to move, the other pieces besides the knights can begin to move as well.  So, the number of possible "continuations" for each color expands considerably.  If one assumes that the average length of an "opening variation" is 8 - 10 moves, it becomes clear that the overwhelming majority of openings and/or opening variations must in fact NOT have a name.

There certainly remains plenty of opportunity for free spirits to develop their own ways of handling the opening!  Despite the bias against certain types of opening moves, I am certain that many "unintuitive" opening sequences are both playable and fully sound.
