Chess should be an Olympic Sport!

Chess already has the Olympiad. Besides the Olympics are for physical sports. Now everyone no more chess should be in the olympics threads.
Shooting ducks is not physical neither!
Not an Olympic sport, because it is derived from an ancient Greek ritual.
However, I think there should be a mentally-challenging equivalent.
Instead of sports, you have board games.
I can give five reasons chess should be an olympic sport:
- If chess was an olympic sport, it would gain huge popularity and promote the sport. I do not know a single chess player who does not want the sport to grow.
- It would also show people that chess is not just a nerdy game where 60-year-old men stare at a board all day, especially if the olympics used speed chess.
- It would allow people to see the brilliance of players such a Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, etc.
- It would be on tv!
- Speed chess is more physical than shotgun shooting, a sport which I also participate in.
Chess should be an Olympic Sport! Dont you think so?
