I use Fritz 11 to study, practise and analyze. Do u thing I should move to Deep Fritz 14 or Komodo 9. I feel the tree opening that comes with Fritz 11 is very poor (that's my perception). Do u think It's worth to buy one of those chess programs for an amateur player (1800 elo fide) ? I know they r stronger than my Fritz 11 but I'm not looking for more strenth but for better learning. What do u think guys ? What chess software u think is better for an amateur player of 1800 elo fide ? Thanks in advance.

No way, waste of money. The Free Stockfish engine can be uploaded to Fritz instantly at it'll be better than Deep Fritz.

Fritz 11 is rated 2887 Elo.  How much stronger of an engine do you need?

Are you playing peopel stronger than Magnus Carlsen?
