Well, to be honest, if Maarten were "engine", he would beat me in round 3 (Nalimov stuff) & round 4 (15th move I think, that Qc3-move).

How is the tourney going?
I'm leading the candidates at 4-0, but almost no one else has finished many games, and I haven't finished a game vs a 1600+ player yet, so my lead doesn't mean too much.
Just one question, if the chess.com world championship is 3 days per move, why are the candidates 5 days per move.
Seems slightly inconsistent.
After jetfighter made a theoretical blunder I challenged him to a rematch to test my dragon some more. What follows is how to blow all of the advantage. Perhaps I should stick to najdorf.

I'd prefer at least a 7 day time/move.
I think that was the point of shepi's idea. Then Qe3# is unfortunate.
I hope the tie-break won't be crucial at the end.
I spent almost 20-30 mins analyzing Qe7!?, only to realize about two seconds after I played it that Rh8+ after Rd8 would almost draw. Despite all of my analysis I failed to find any of the computer improvements on Rd8??, including the simple Re8. Quite sad really.

That wouldn't even be the craziest thing to happen in the match considering some of the games you two have played
(I wish there was some sort of font that was universally recognised as 'playful tone' so we didn't have dance around trying not to seem offensive
