Mine just updated to this today. My only complaint with it is not being able to play better moves and improve my accuracy.

there have been lots of specific issues pointed out in this and another thread. chess.com has gone ahead anyway and made the new review worse than the old one

that's simply not true. the initial feedback ("ugh! what the hell is this! roll it back!") was completely ignored. the new review is nowhere near as good as the old one. I've already cancelled my paid subscription because of the way this has gone... it's been a waste of effort for everyone, especially the developers who were told to build this 'downgrade'

Just a reminder for everyone in this thread: giving feedback to chess.com is a waste of time. They completely ignore our input and keep rolling out those terrible updates.

Yes, this one was very useful and one of the reasons I went 'diamond'. Now it is so bad. Sad, but at least I save some money, as I am not going to renew my membership.

The feedback they take is not in the form of text or words, it is in the form of money. If they are earning more subscriptions with the new layout, they do not care about randos complaining on the forums. If everybody unsubscribed, they would revert to the old layout.

If you're implying that their earnings are growing, it's absolutely not because of these new UI updates, but rather despite them. Chess is more popular than ever now, and of course, there is growth in usage. It’s the only thing that sustains any cash increase, if there is one. However, it's pretty obvious from forums that these UI changes are universally hated.

The updates aren't universally hated and there have been members in this topic that have mentioned they like the new version. Staff have been following this and other related topics and feedback does have impact on the feature.

I'm implying that chess.com does not see a reason to change as of yet, so they haven't.
Chess.com is not ignorant or financially illiterate. They know that there are many factors that contribute to total earnings other than one individual feature. And they have dedicated teams that examine advanced analytics to form the basis for their decisions regarding the game review and other features. The forums are only one tiny part of that.

Looking closely, I even think that the new layout for review is not that bad, but the last change in the game interface against the robots was really bad.
