clock freezing

I've had it happen a few times now, where I have a very close game, and I'll have like 10-20 seconds remaining in a blitz game, and then either a) the board freezes and when it unfreezes I'm declared lost on time, or b) my opponents clock runs for several seconds and then when his move applies my time goes immediately to zero and I lose. I'm on a high speed cable set-up so I doubt it's my network. this is the android app. Super annoying. Anyone else had that happen?

Internet connection. I had to face this problem quite a few times when I am in a country side. This is really very frustrating!

most of the suggestions in the support page wouldn't explain why an android phone using the native app would hang (they relate to web browser and typical desktop web issues like ani-virus software). I'm in my house using wifi over a high speed cablemodem connection (AT&T Uverse, suitable for HD streaming), so I'm completely certain it's not spotty internet coverage.

Ah, I missed the app part. However, other things on your network can cause issues. When my family is heavily utilizing my home network I have seen lag and connection issues.

I'm not going to claim the client and server code couldn't be more robust but a lot of things outside of the site's control can cause issues.

I have this same problem WAY TOO OFTEN. I also experience from the other side with my opponents losing connection. What are the odds we all have bad internet connections?
