Sometimes the clock goes to 0 seconds but goes up to 2 seconds it’s just lag cannot be fixed

Hello and goodmorning from Holland .... I hope someone recognize this issue .... Some games i play and the opponent doesnt react anymore the clock of the opponent is counting untill there is 0.001 second to go and stops .. when i want to play another game i have to quit and lose the game ..... Anyone familiar with this ?
