computer chess complexity value

Sometimes when analyzing my bullit or blitz chess openings on computer I'm missing a complexity value. Let say I'm play bullit or blitz, and the opponent play a unsound gambit. Maybe even offer a pice on f7. (Bxf7)
The I don't want the best reply, but the maybe the near best reply giving the most simple play.
Also in position where I'm ahead, I might seek for simple continuations.

You have definitely hit on one of the weaknesses of using computers to analyze games. When I was analyzing my last daily game there were some horrendously complex/dangerous lines the computer said were fine. If I had actually played them, I almost certainly would have lost. Likewise, there was a line I did play I regretted as it opened up a file and my opponent got tremendous pressure. It was miserable defending it. The computer said I was absolutely correct entering the line.

What I should do is analyze the game using Leela Chess 0. It has a very different search method based on lines being most likely to win. It would be interesting to see where it differed.
