Conditional Moves

I agree. The conditional moves were a great idea.
As an aside, if you guys want to see how things might play out, the analysis board (under the details tab beside your game) is great for that as well. Keep up the good work, chess.com

i try to use conditional moves as often as possible... especially in endgame... but also paticularly against lower rated players... i'll set up a trap and i'll set up all the scenarious in conditional moves so whatever they do of substantial value i have it covered. And when i have those players who take DAYS!!! to move i'll also set up the most possible moves to keep the game going and get through it asap.

one warning though, if you make a mistake on a conditional line, you can find youself in an unexpected position not to your advantage when you return. i'd suggest only making a couple of moves at a time that way unless you have a series of forced moves.
you can set multiple lines conditional moves too.
(if you are using Chrome, you may have to open another browser to delete the lines if you realise that you made a mistake)

I'd like to extend the Conditional Moves concept to include Unconditional Non-Moves i.e. you put in a move for yourself that the system MUST NOT ALLOW YOU TO MAKE!
Okay, I guess I'm just really stupid, but I didn't know that the "conditional moves" option would actually make the moves for you in a real game. I just thought it was for our own reference. So if there is anybody else out there that didn't read the directions for the conditional moves, now you know.
