Conditional Moves

I wish the conditional moves had a feature that would allow you to select a move to be played, regardless of your opponents response. I think this would be easier than trying to either predict it or create so many variations for how you want a few moves to play out, at the end of a game especially, when your opponent can't really accomplish much, no matter what they decide to do. Does anyone else agree with this or have a better idea?

There's this anecdote of a postal chess game where Black replied to 1.d4 with 1...g6 (anything), 2...Bg7. White replied with 2.Bh6 Bg7 3.Bxg7 (anything), 4.Bxh8.

So unconditional moves have their pitfalls.

That wouldn't be an issue as long as there is still an option to make regular conditional moves.

As for OP's idea, I think it's good.  It's basically the premove function, but for CC, so I wouldn't think it's too hard to implement either.

We've been waiting for wildcard condionals since chesscom-feature-request-and-wishlist-4?page=1 at least.

Certainly there is the possibility for errors, but I think it could be programmed into the system with a safe guard or two. I wouldn't select an unconditional move unless I was certain, no matter my opponent's response, that my move is sound.
