Using a program involves more than ratings- this is a site that is mainly for humans who want to play other humans. Allowing people to copy from chess engines violates this fundamental aspect of chess.com.
Correct me if I'm wrong...

Yeah. I get that. And so it's clear, I hate cheaters. I just wondered why people want to inflate their ratings via the COMPUTER1/2/3/4's, and other means. Even IMPOSSIBLE makes some blunders, which is weird for a program. But 1/0 spamming queen moves against said 'puter is obvious cheating.
I'm not blaming admin or whatever for anything, but I don't see why when it's proven through game history, that nothing's done to the people cheating.

You can inflate your rating all you want, and it's not really going to hurt anyone. It might mess up a team match a little, or give a high-rated player an easy win, but the impact on others is far less than using an engine against them. The things you mentioned are petty, to be sure, but they are not a clear and gross violation, IMO.
I just want to make sure I understand. If you cheat here with a chess engine, you will be banned? Yet, so many topics disclose forms of cheating for rating. IMPOSSIBLE is easy to cheese, as has been posted. Playing 400 points under players gives points, while losing none for the one resigning...so many avenues to cheat.
Buuuut, we aren't allowed to use programs? I'm confused.
