play faster like blitz or so on.
Daily Chess Obsession

I mostly play daily chess, not more than 50 or you'll only lose. Improve by playing unrated ig and try to improve during your games
I advice against daily.
It is too inhomogeneous. One may analyse hours on a move, another only seconds.
One may play one game only, another may play 100 simultaneously.

I enjoy the pressure of a time control like 10 minutes. You have to prioritise your time and can only calculate a certain number of moves per game. At other times, you just play instinctively putting pieces in what feels like good squares.

I play daily with my friends. It doesn't take lots of time for me to sit in front of my monitor and think. It feels free to do other activities. But the vacation time is terrible.

I also play a lot of daily chess, usually many games around 40-50 or so. I like it because you can play your moves whenever you can, and i think it 's a good way to compete and learn at the same time because you have time to think of the best moves. However as i play so many games at the same time usually i just play the move without a lot of thought. I think if used correctly daily games is a great tool for improvement and fun at the same time.

Daily chess was all I ever played. Mostly in rated Team Matches.
Daily format allows you to try to play the BEST moves... not just "fast and good enough" moves like Blitz and Rapid.
Here's one of my rated Daily match games:

What's your opinion about daily chess?
I do not have time to sit at my screen and play a full game, unless I were to play on time controls that I think are more about how fast you can click than how well you can think. But several times throughout the day I do have time to log in and make a move in one or two games, even if they are midgame and complicated board positions. If someone wants to play "Imma study this for three solid days before I make this move" that is certainly their option. I play enough games that I can rely on having one or two available when I log in, and if one particular game only shows up every three days I probably won't even notice and wouldn't care if I did.

I don't have the time to be playing the same game on different days it dissolves your thinking and coordination so daily chess is a no no for me in my opinion

I only play daily. I'm starting to move from tournament play to club match play. That way I can control how many games I play at one time. It the best time control for this stage of my life. Plus, I can really think about moves and plans which I feel is great for me to learn the game better. I mostly only play people rated 1500+ so solid opening, strategy, and endgame play becomes a necessary.

I used to play daily games ages ago but people started stalling games and i started to get angry, yeah that's what we signed up for, to wait a day for a move but that day is for thinking.. not for making the game way longer than it should be when start losing...
if you are waiting for a day for everymove in M4 or even M1 then you are stalling. And i hate that.

In terms of seeking for improvements, I would definitely recommend classical time controls over daily games.

What do you do to get better? What's your opinion about daily chess?
How many games do you play at the same time?
Do you play Team Matchs?
At one point I had 60 daily games at the same time…

Its a simple answer: If you a team player, you will play a daily matches for team in different leagues and friendly matches, but If you individual player you will play only bullet, blitz or rapid. I like to play bullet, blitz and rapid, but also play a lot of matches for many teames... (PS: I am sorry because of my english 🙂).
