Defeating Nelson Quickly as a Beginner

Great work! That is a big accomplishment. However, it should be noted that the ratings that chess.com assigns to bots is too high, and Nelson’s true skill level is more around 1000. This is still very nice for a beginner to do though, keep it up!
watch "chessbrah extra" channel on youtube the "building habits" series, start from the beginning.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured it was a little too easy to be 1300. I'll keep working at it!

Good Luck with your progress! that’s a great accomplishment (I’ve sometimes lost to it though ive actually (in my old account) started at 2019- with a full break of 2020/1-2020/9
Just as a follow up, I just beat Antonio (1500), though I'm not sure how accurate that 1500 rating is. More like 1200?

Hello everyone,
I have a question about defeating Nelson, the 1300-ranked bot. Although I've had a Chess.com account for a little while, I haven't really played chess consistently for more than a week or so in my life. In fact, I haven't played consistently for a week until this past week.
I defeated Nelson within only a few tries and it was a lopsided victory in my favour. To be clear, I'm not trying to brag, I just want to know if this is normal for a beginner (which I absolutely consider myself to be) or if I did well by defeating him so quickly and if you have any advice as to where I should go from here. Thanks.
