Develop as a low rated player.
Thank you for the suggestion ![]()
Yeah that sounds like an good idea. I have as I stated played rapid/bullet. But I think as you confirm now, that you should do some games where you have more time for thinking over your moves.
I have the same problem as you. I have found that I fare better in 15-10 or longer games than the bullet/rapid games.

I think that you need to work on your opening
In my opinion, you should start developing your stronger pieces before moving many pawns. Like, you should bring your knights and bishops out, castle, and then work on the pawn structure. If you want to improve your game, I would recommend completing the study plan in the lessons category.
Hello Anders
The best way is always to play people face to face. In a chess club. It truly is.
Are there any chess clubs near you?
try tactics and leave the blitz for a while, start playing slower games, also if you want I am giving a free lesson via skype, just message me if you want
Thank you for all the suggestions guys. I will start up with some tactics and do some longer games. 🙂
"..., you have to make a decision: have tons of fun playing blitz (without learning much), or be serious and play with longer time controls so you can actually think.
One isn't better than another. Having fun playing bullet is great stuff, while 3-0 and 5-0 are also ways to get your pulse pounding and blood pressure leaping off the charts. But will you become a good player? Most likely not.
Of course, you can do both (long and fast games), ..." - IM Jeremy Silman (June 9, 2016)https://www.chess.com/article/view/longer-time-controls-are-more-instructive

Hi fellow Chess-players!
I have very much fun playing chess, but I'm really not good at the game(Struggling for defeating people with around 800 (chess.com rating), and I do now want to do an effort for improving my game. Not for any master-level at all, but at least improve my game. Since I'm very low rated player I wouldn't think that it would take long time to improve my game. I Do some blunders here and there and ends up loosing a game where I have had a better position. To this post I have included some games that I have played. I want to hear with you guys what is an OK to develop as a player, the question will not only be for the one correct way, but a way. One thing I know is not helping me is that I do play some rapid/bullet and for thinking chess I would think that is not helping for a low rated player.
