I'm so sick of the little bug or whatever it is that people pull on here when losing...I've brought it to the websites awarness, and they try to pawn it off as normal evry now and then disconnection...It only happens when I'm winning by material , or time ...certain people cause connection interuption, and i lose the rating...plus i haft to pull power from my router, reset it in order to even open google after that...this never has happened before until I've joined on this website..nor does it happen anywhere else when I'm on the web...just during play at chess.com so this is not just a coincidence...there is a pattern here...it's something to do with your opponent jamming a proxy server or something...plz fix it!! from happening...does anyone else ever experience this?? I'm sure it happens to others...remember if the only way your rating goes up is because of tricks , and cheating..it's not your rating...losers

It is not a coincidence.  It happens on many free websites.  One example is yahoo.  The software geeks have a place on the internet where they download software that enables them to boot you from the website when they are losing, that way they gain rating points.

If you want to avoid it you will have to go to ICC or some other pay site where they monitor and ban users from their website that cheat in this way and others.

I personally just stopped playing online.  I only play OTB chess now.

Ah ha!!  So you're the one who's been causing all these disconnections on chess.com

Shame.  Shame on you.  Please, stop winning on material or time, so the rest of us can enjoy the bliss of not having to cope with disconnections.

ps.  Stop downloading or using your PC for anything else while playing -- that ought to improve your odds somewhat of avoiding the dreaded 'disconnection' on chess.com.

Yes just happened to me again. Find it a complement when they have to cheat to beat me.

When that happens, write to customer support, send them a link to the game, and ask them to restore your points.  If you get backlash, then re-send the email ATTN: SHAUN.
