In my experience as soon as I start thinking that I might not deserve my rating is when I start losing rating points. If you got there you’re capable of playing at that level. Confidence is key.

I just noticed that Kasparov is only credited with winning 49% of his games. Feel good about what you have achieved. You made it through try outs, you are in the minor leagues and you're just hoping to go to the Big Show. There may be only half a million people in the world that can beat you. Good luck. Excelsior!

There’s certainly a possibility that you got lucky getting that rating. Now the worse thing you can do is stop playing and say that you’re this level because the you’ll just decline anyway. Keep playing, and be grateful that you got such a high rating and use it to practice against strong opponents
