Do Profile Views include your own views???

I doubt it, but I don't know.

It appears that it counts every time someone else views it, even if they have before. So you just got about 5 from me

It doesn't count your own views. If you log out and view your profile it does count it though. If you want to look really popular you can log out, go to your profile, and spend the whole day refreshing your browser.

I didn't realize popularity on chess.com could be so refreshing.

It depends on the browser. Command + R using Chrome on a mac. Or you can just click the refresh button.

Maybe a year ago I've discovered that you can go to someone's profile and give them a lot of profile views by holding F5. For instance, Kingmagikarp had 197 profile views, now he has 409 (Sorry!). 

More than 50 000 profile views of MSC157 are mine. I remember I put something on the button and left it for 15 minutes. And around 90% of mine are his. I've demonstrated this technique to Scott as well.

When one of your goals in life is to appear on the first page of the daily puzzle thread, you know you have no life. Same goes for profile views.
