I prefer the prefix alpha, beta, gamma and so on. Stars make them look like military generals 😎

Maybe do it like black belts in martial arts... Dan 1 GM to Dan 9 GM or up, whatever we decide is the top.

i think gm title should be limited to a higher level ,not creat a new title ,some 2600 player are very strong ,can win anyone ,but 2400 --2500 players are much weaker , so 2600 should be a gm line
