Even if you ignore the sexuality controversy i still don't like it. You can't see the chess board very well as their arms are covering half the board and i don't think it's good for a chess world championship logo. Can't they just have two people sitting at a table playing chess as a logo.

Come on, you know you wanted an excuse to use the word "pawnographic".
Seriously, making chess a bit sexier will help its popularity. Maybe more kids will get into it, and - gasp! - maybe we'll get more sponsors!

Come on, man! I'm having a hard time imagining a young person looking at that ridiculous logo and thinking, "I always thought chess was boring but apparently I was wrong. That must be one sexy game!" More likely he's thinking, "I always thought chess players were weird but I didn't realize how weird!"
I personally think it is inappropriate. What about you guys?
